Find Your Tribe đź’™
As graduation approaches, I’ve found myself looking back through photos and realizing how much of this journey was shared — not just with my son, but with an incredible group of moms who became part of our family story along the way. Somewhere between the school events, practices, carpools, late-night texts, and celebrations, complete strangers became lifelong friends.
The tantrums, homework battles, early morning alarms, late-night practices, endless carpool lines, and packed schedules can feel overwhelming in the moment. Some days feel like they will never end… and then suddenly, you’re looking back wondering where all that time went. Although the days can feel long, the years truly are short.
What once felt like routine chaos slowly turns into the memories you’ll miss the most. The snacks packed, the uniforms washed, the rides given, the hugs in between, and even the stressful moments that once felt so big. You don’t realize it at the time, but those are the moments that shape everything.
To all the moms out there who aren’t here yet, my advice…
Find your tribe and surround yourself with moms who will walk beside you through every season — the good days, the hard days, and everything in between. The moms who cheer your child on when you can’t be there, who show up without being asked, who send the “I saw them play today” messages, give you real-time game updates in your absence, and who love and support your kids like they are their own. Those friendships become part of your story too, and they matter more than words can say.
So cherish every season — the chaos, the quiet, the wins, and the lessons in between. Take the pictures, show up, pause when you can, and soak it in even when it feels ordinary. Because before you know it, you’re preparing for graduation, looking through photos full of memories, and wondering how time moved so quickly.
One day the carpools end, the schedules clear, and the group texts slow down… but the memories, friendships, and village you built along the way remain forever.
